Lets enjoy watching movies together and learn the magic of filmmaking.

I received your BYFC NEWS summer Issue 2007. I find it very interes-
ing and informative. However, alot
was taken up by the task of proper-ty master and not much on the visi-
on of the BLOG. Nevertheless,I
complement the good work you and others are doing. Also, I just love the last class you held.Keep
the good work up. Bye for now.
I work in the field of law enforcement but I love the field of film. I have taken a few classes and have worked on one feature film and two short films. I have also worked as a BCAT producer.
I took two classes with BYFC: Production Assistant and Introduction to Script writing. I enjoyed both classes a lot.
I have worked as Assistant Director, Director of Photography, Caterer, Production Assistant, Assistant Boom Operator and Locator.
I look forward to working in the field in the near future and getting paid to do so.
I have a lot to learn and I am enjoying the journey.

BYFC CHANGED MY LIFE.
I have worked several places over the past 8 years but there is nothing on earth I would rather do than write scripts. I searched all over New Jersey but was not happy with what other classes were offering to me. A friend of mind told me about the classes BYFC offered. So I decided to try them out. The classes that I took was Production Assistant class and Intoduction to Script writing. These two classes has not only helped me alot but my teacher helped me to bring my writing to a new level that I did not think was possible.
If you or anyone you know are looking to take classes dealing with film BYFC is the choice for you. I promise, you will not be disappointed
I took two classes : Production Assistant and Introduction to Script writing. I enjoyed both and met really interesting people who share the same interests in film. I hope we can all achieve our goals. B.T.

They're wonderful motivating resources, that fill you with the knowledge and courage to go do what you love... MAKE FILMS!
I cant wait to see the October 17 Showcase at the Brooklyn Public Library.

I've never been a big reader of long stories and forget-about writing them, but one day I was inspired to write a story...with it being turned into a movie later on. Well as you can imagine I dived right into writing a movie script, but without knowing the proper format for a script. You see, everything has laws and rules that instruct you on how you must present your work. A simple example of this is addressing an envelope; the return address always go top left, stamp to the top right and addresse to lower middle. Anywhere else would be out of format and confusing. Well this scriptwring class shows you the proper way to format your script and develop your storyline...properly and effectively. This class has not only shown me the correct way of scriptwriting, it was a lot of fun too. Anyone reading my post, if you have not signed-up for a class, I highly recommend you do!
